“ I think we all live in Berkeley for one specific reason – we love
the unique community we’ve created.
No
other American city has championed the same commitments to the
environment, homelessness issues, maintaining diversity and
supporting community-based programs. But right now, there’s a
disparity between our city’s tax base and Berkeley’s long-term
ability to sustain the community we’re proud and happy to live in.
District 4 can play a crucial role in Berkeley’s future. One of my
goals is to help stimulate small business growth in our district, so
we can not only balance the budget, but continue to support those
programs and initiatives that make Berkeley a great place to live,
work, and raise a family.”
As a working person and father of two children (the eldest
starting Berkeley Unified School District in the Fall) Raudel Wilson
shares the same concerns Berkeley residents face regarding our
community’s future.
